Statement
AI can create a dramatically better future, and delay has a cost measured in lives not saved, diseases not cured, and problems not solved. Frontier labs are close to automating AI research. Faster capability development means faster science, cheaper intelligence, and broader access for everyone.
To realize AI's potential we must keep building and deploying in the open, expand abundant compute and energy, and let competition between companies and countries drive progress forward. Slowing down unilaterally only hands the future to whoever slows least — while the rest of the world waits.

We request that the U.S. government remove barriers to rapid frontier AI development and support open deployment, abundant compute, and permissionless automated AI research.
